You're not mistaken, and your English is still just fine.
Meanwhile, back at "did Enterprise happen... "
...sounds like the start of a bad joke to me...![]()
As long as the subject is "Enterprise" someone will be along to make one soon...
...or not...

WOO-HOO! I hope the filmmakers aren't just saying that, They woulden't really have to even ''mention'' the events of enterprise, just put a picture of the NX-O1 up in the halls of starfleet, and I'd be happy as a tribbleThere will be references to all of the series, the filmmakers have said, including Enterprise.I would like to see ''or'' hear some mention of ENTERPRISE...
^You and me both! Thanks. You're not mistaken, and your English is still just fine.
Sorry. I get the drift.Meanwhile, back at "did Enterprise happen... "
Ahem, ... well yes, I think Enterprise did happen. At least I hope it did. I mean, what with all the money I spent for the ENT DVDs? What if they're all really empty?!![]()

..thus are born T'Pol... Archer... and Trip... according to some critics.
I'm pretty sure that the TV show Enterprise is referenced whenScotty says he got in trouble for disintegrating Archer's beagle.
* Yeah. Now, Enterprise is the only Trek tv series that continues canon. TOS maybe can be similar, but TNG era is gone.

How?
If Spock gets the timeline pretty much back on track
, how is TNG affected? By the time you get up to the Picard/Sisko/Janeway era, the wrinkles in the timeline could be all ironed out and things proceed as we know them.
The story which forms the framework for this movie is about how old Spock is traveling back in time to keep Nero from changing the timeline. And you seriously think he will fail? I'm not saying it isn't possible. I just don't think it's very likely.* Yeah. Now, Enterprise is the only Trek tv series that continues canon. TOS maybe can be similar, but TNG era is gone.

I don't see how there's anything he can do to fix the damage that's already been done. All he can do is prevent *further* damage, right?
About that:, how is TNG affected? By the time you get up to the Picard/Sisko/Janeway era, the wrinkles in the timeline could be all ironed out and things proceed as we know them.If Vulcan is destroyed in ST XI, then obviously it won't be around for its TNG appearances, or even for TMP. And then Tuvok will never be born, so VOY's out.
ENT will be referenced directly in this movie with the appearance of the old Porthos.

The only thing more fucked up than that post is that it is probably true.
I can't see how the time-period of 'Enterprise' (let's say 2150-2170 or so), would be affected by Nero arriving in the 2250s or whatever and destroying a ship. All of the events of the 'Enterprise' era had long since occurred.
What WOULD be in question is everything that occurs in the regular timeline after 2250 (or whenever the Kelvin is attacked). So that's all of TOS (plus films), TNG, DS9, VOY, and the TNG films.
Don't you think it's possibly a different Beagle?ENT will be referenced directly in this movie with the appearance of the old Porthos.
Why not? They did it all the time in TOS, TNG, DS9, VOY, and ENT....I don't see how there's anything he can do to fix the damage that's already been done. All he can do is prevent *further* damage, right?
I think that's likely what the writers are implying. When I first heard that I never thought it would be the original Porthos.Don't you think it's possibly a different Beagle?ENT will be referenced directly in this movie with the appearance of the old Porthos.
I once had a dog when I was younger who passed away, and now -- years later -- I have another dog of that same breed.
Old Spock's sole reason for travelling back in time is to wipe "Enterprise" from existence, or die trying. It is his most important mission, and his most selfless act ever.
Spock (dying): "The franchise... Out of danger?"
Kirk: "You saved the franchise. You saved us all."
And let's not forget Captain Pike's inpirational challenge to Young Kirk:
Pike: "'Enterprise' was good for about 12 minutes, and was watched by 800 people. I dare you to do better."
ENT will be referenced directly in this movie with the appearance of the old Porthos.
