Did anyone watch SNL last night? It wasn't too bad actually.

But Eisenberg was in Zombieland. Where was the punchline in your joke? Was it supposed to be a Michael Cera joke? I'm confused. Maybe I missed something.
Eisenberg congratulating Zuckerberg on playing himself implicitly invites Zuckerberg to congratulate Eisenberg for playing him, so by praising his role in a different, non-Academy Award-winning movie, there'd have been a good joke (the humor of red herrings). But no. :p

I think a better joke might have been, "I really enjoyed your performance in Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World".

I watch SNL for the opening sketch, the digital short, and the news. Everything else is pretty bad. Has been for many years.

MY cherished era is the Will Ferrell years :p

Don't quit you day job. Unless your day job is writing for television.

Dana Carvey hosted. And predictably he resurrected some of his recurring characters from his years on the show. Thought it was pretty cool seeing Mike Myers back as Garth in the opening Wayne's World skit, even though said skit wasn't that funny.

Much better was Carvey's Church Lady skit, which did have a few funny jabs at current reality TV stars. Though it fell apart when they got Justin Bieber on there and made Church Lady go all gaga over him.

Other then that there were some cute skits. It was certainly a better episode than they normally put out, but that's not really saying much. Still, it kept my interest unlike most SNL these days does.

I missed it! Will have to catch it on Hulu.
