I also imagine there are some SERIOUS MMORPGs in the Link. Not just the MMORPG that is the way they've terrorized two quadrants (and I think they regard it almost like that way), but all kinds of other joint simulations and virtual realities.

My problem with that scene concerns having an alien race, especially a non humanoid race to experiece a humanoid sexual experience.
First, how can the Female Shapeshifter be a female? Do the Founders breed sexually? Do they breed at all? They must on some level because the Founders sent 100 of their beings including Odo out in space to explore (which begs the question, why would a highly Xenophobic race send their own beings out, possibly into the hands of Solids, to whom the Founders hated?)
I just saw last night a 5th season ep called "A Simple Investigation". Odo becomes taken with a mysterious woman, they begin a relationship, and end up having sex. The scene is after they did the deed in bed with Odo feeling very satisfied.
OK, question, how does Odo know how to please a humanoid woman? Does he shapeshift a proper sexual organ for her? How does a Shapeshifter achieve climax? He isn't humanoid. Klingons, Vulcans, Bolians, Trills and a variety of other species have had sexual relations with each other, but they are more or less the same in how the act is preformed.
Founders are not humanoids.
I have always had somewhat of a problem with the genders of the Founders and gain, why was the Female Shapeshifter female? Was was she an older woman? Why did she have large breasts and hips of a solid humanoid female? How did the Female Shapeshifter make herself into a form that made herself a female sexual organ and know how to get pleasure from it?
On a larger question, how can Odo love Kira? Again, the same questions can be posed above, does Kira specify how big she wants Odo's penis to be? Does Odo have testicles? How can Odo experience sexual pleasure being from a non humanoid race?
Somewhat the same with Data and Tasha Yar having sex. Data cannot comprehend sexual intamacy and pleasure first hand because he is not a humanoid.Why would Data even need a penis, except that his creator granted him one. We really should of gotten a bedroom scene in TNG.

I love Star Trek and especially DS9 so much, I just chuck stuff off like this to being "Screw it, it's Star Trek." One has to suspend reality sometimes to watch this show. It just gives one a gigantic headache to figure out stuff when it is all fiction and fantasy.
