Will the new destiny omnibus be released as an e book? I can't find it on amazon or barnes and noble.
Or they may have just decided that the individual books are good enough. After all, these are the same brilliant minds who think that people will pay more for ebooks than for print copies...I'm not sure why it would be delayed, but it's possible they want to give the trade edition time to sell before they add the eBook edition. It might also just be an oversight.
Thanks, hopefully it will be released soon.^ I fully expect it to be released in eBook format after the trade paperback is published. Someone noticed some medical inaccuracy concerning childbirth back when the Destiny books first appeared. Any chance those lines of text will be tweaked for the omnibus?
I don't recall the point in question, so the answer would be no, I made no changes relevant to that.Someone noticed some medical inaccuracy concerning childbirth back when the Destiny books first appeared. Any chance those lines of text will be tweaked for the omnibus?

In the omnibus the Caeliar, previously played by prosthetic-wearing actors, will now be replaced by CGI versions that will be argued over by fans for years to come.
Actually, that would have been a huge pain in the ass to change; it would have entailed rewriting entire sections, which was not something I had the time or inclination to do.My apologies, Dave - it was not a childbirth issue. It's on the main Destiny review thread - around page 7 - that it came up. At the time you said:
"Only after reading the logical refutations of Troi's medical crisis and now Allyn's followup, I realize that instead of making this a strictly medical/scientific issue, I should have made it an ethical issue that examined the gray areas related to the Federation's aversion to genetic engineering on already-existing organisms."
So although I'm not sure it was an inaccuracy by present-day medicine, it looks like it wouldn't have been that tough to tweak, either.
