Describe an emotion as a flavor

If you tasted a flavor when you experienced a certain emotion, what flavor would correspond with each emotion?

If you get run over by a car everytime you eat a chocolate, eventually that will probably correspond with the emotion of fear.

I believe that grape push pops were gastronomically determined for one purpose alone: to instill the sense the coming of death.

The rest of my answers would be far too graphic and might remind some of Prince lyrics. I'll leave it at that.

I don't know about taste, but joy smells like sweat, clean sheets, sunshine on a dry river bed and sweet red wine.

Happiness is like the taste of any food after going 2 days without any food.

Anger is like the taste of vomit in your mouth.

Horn-

nevermind

I imagine you were going to say "horny" but I prefer to describe the emotion after that emotion:

With someone you love: The taste of the most sweetest of fruits.

With yourself: The bittersweet taste of a lemonade.

Love tastes like ambrosia
Sex like nectar
Romance like rose petals
Compassion like warm bread

One issue with your list. Unless one is to eat rose petals i'm not sure if that would count as a "flavor." I mean it's a nice metaphor but i'm not sure if it counts on those grounds. Well I have done my Debbie Downer duty so I will let everyone now, respond. :)

Joy tastes like bubbles of Veuve Clicquot fizzing in your mouth.
Despair tastes like salt.

Hope tastes like a jawbreaker. You can suck on it for what seems like forever, until it breaks.
