Describe an emotion as a flavor

If you tasted a flavor when you experienced a certain emotion, what flavor would correspond with each emotion?

If you get run over by a car everytime you eat a chocolate, eventually that will probably correspond with the emotion of fear.

One issue with your list. Unless one is to eat rose petals i'm not sure if that would count as a "flavor." I mean it's a nice metaphor but i'm not sure if it counts on those grounds. Well I have done my Debbie Downer duty so I will let everyone now, respond.
