Of course, if we want to be nitpicky, it shouldn't be in the academy's simulation database back in Kirk's time, but let's just enjoy it.

Wow, that ship is everywhere these days. First the big chocolate, now this. I think people just like using it because it's so small and easy to render compared to some of the other ships in Star Trek's history.

Oh, and they picked it because it doesn't look like your typical berman-era STAR TREK ship..it actually looks cool!!!

Interesting to see that it's called a freighter in the game. When it was designed what became the Defiant was supposed to be a Bajoran freighter.

Cool. I don't think everyones favorite tough little ship is easy to render - few of the models or games got it right. Damn shame Corgi never released theirs.
