Deep Space Nine: The Best Trek Ever

While I agree with the sentiment, I just can't take anyone seriously who says you're all wrong if you don't share my opinion.

I'm instantly wary of anyone who calls themselves "fanboys" (or "fangirls"). They tend to be a little... overzealous. I see this guy is no exception. He has some interesting ideas, but he's way too dogmatic about them. I mean, look at this:

"So go ahead, argue all you like about which one is better because really, you’re ALL WRONG."

Ugh. Lighten up, pal. No one can say which Trek series is "the best", because the best is purely subjective. And why do some people feel the need for everyone to agree with them, anyway? I love DS9, but I realize not everyone does. They can think whatever they want. I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.

Oh...I felt it was all a bit tongue-and-cheek, but I could be wrong. I just get excited when I read articles praising this show.

Well, for me at least, TOS is still the top of the heap. That being said, I think that DS9 is the Trek spin-off that came the closest to recapturing the things I like about TOS.

And he is wrong about B5, also.

I stopped reading when he said "Enterprise was pretty good".

Please. You can't compare DS9 to ENT--better premise, better cast, better characters, better writing, better feel/look. DS9 wins hands down each and every time.
