These are really fun to read. The DS9 Relaunch turns out to be a pretty unique thing in the whole history of TrekLit; there have been a lot of these ongoing TrekLit continuations and original series but the DS9 Relaunch is the only one that did such a density of stories in such a short period of in-universe time. It really feels like a season of TV in a way almost nothing else does, aside from potentially New Frontier.

This will be interesting to read. Getting into ST books for first time and as a DS9 fan chose the relaunch series. Not going to read every one as I just don't have that much time and there are other books I want to read also. Have to check these out as I finish the books to see how he saw them.

I think I would enjoy these more without the character-by-character commentary with cheesy subheading names. I always skim those. (I think the same thing about Keith's episode commentaries for Tor.) The commentary on the book as a whole then comes off as slight.

Unity I read it again awhile back it really did a great of how Ben Sisko is brought back in a really clever way.

I hope I can reread these books soon. They were the books that got me into star trek literature. Since it has been over a decade since reading them, there's only a few I can still recall memories of so I assume I enjoyed them the most. The Andor story, Trill story, A Stitch in Time, Left Hand of Destiny, and Day of the Vipers (not relaunch but still). Everything else is a blur.

Thanks for the link! The DS9 relaunch is what got me really into Trek lit, though there was stuff I enjoyed before too. Marco Palmieri was great for Trek lit.
