Here is my entry into December's art contest. Technically this character has appeared in more than one episode, but I hope it can still be included. If not, that's okay, I still enjoyed making it.

nice! ...she was only in one episode IMHO -- "The Menagerie" counts as one and "The Cage" wasn't broadcast until decades later -- and it's still not technically a different episode...

"The Cage" was shown on TV on its own until 1988...

"The Cage" was aired for the first time in its entirety and in full color in 1988 as part of "The Star Trek Saga: From One Generation to the Next", a two-hour retrospective special hosted by Patrick Stewart. It contained interviews with Gene Roddenberry, Maurice Hurley, Rick Berman, Mel Harris and cast members from the old and new series, clips from both series and the Star Trek films I through IV with a small preview of Star Trek V. It was later rebroadcast on UPN in 1996 with a behind the scenes look at Star Trek: First Contact.

I saw it twice in Roddenberry's travelling lecture tour in the mid-70s too, though not all in color iirc.

In the case of Roddenberry's lectures, it was his black & white work print that he showed, so none of it was in color.

IMHO the back lacks a certain content. Those few sentences don't really build up to something, being just "regular" questions. Now something more along the lines of

We all know Spock. We all know Riker. But when Pike began his journey, he had someone else than our green blooded friend: a woman known to history only as Number One. Why are her name nor her actions remembered? Delve into the secret tombs of Federation history to unfold the actions of this mysterious woman, to find out why history shuns her name and, above all, what Pike had to say about her in a not-before-released exclusive log entry!

would do the trick...
