We lost some good ones this year. Odo is gone, Nog, the kid from Miri...
So this contest will be stories about characters where the actor is no longer with us.
Any actor- Nimoy, Kelley, Doohan etc are fine to use. Write about their characters-and try to stay true to the characters as they portrayed them.
Let's try to keep it to 5000 words, as modern society has issues with concentrating longer than that(LOL).
New or used stories are fine. Have fun, and happy holidays!

Hm. Should we stretch the submission period into February?

There are so many Trek characters to write for within the framework of this challenge: TOS Spock, McCoy, Chekov from the new movies, Odo, Nog - just to name a few off the top of my head. I can't believe nobody else can come up with a story around one of them.
