Saw it today - loved it.

Funny, engaging, irreverent, even managed to make a nothing character like Cable bearable.

Saw it last night and howled like a loon all the way through. Easily as funny and irreverent as the first one, possibly even more so. Everyone was great in their roles and the jokes and pop culture references keep coming hard and fast. This is Reynolds’ signature role now and he really rocks it.

Coming 2 weeks after Infinity War, I wondered if it would be an anticlimax by comparison. But while obviously not as spectacular or epic, it’s almost as entertaining and enjoyable. Hard to believe that Brolin is the same actor as Thanos (apart from the inevitable in-joke).

An A from me.

Man, so much hate for Green Lantern. It wasn't that bad.
I wonder what the joke was that Disney wanted removed? Someone said it was him killing baby Hitler which made me laugh.

I think he made fun of Disney in a Deadpool kind of way and they axed it, as reported the only thing where they stepped in. Otherwise they let them do their thing.

It successfully subverted expectations, unlike some other movies I can think of.

I was with Negasonic at the end. I was exhausted by Deadpool's antics.

In my showing, the biggest laughs came with the mid-credits scene.

I have a very low opinion of the first film. It was funny, but had a shitty plot. I hope the writing for this film is better.

I thought it was great.......I needed a notepad to catch all the in jokes. I didn't go to see Deadpool or this for the plot..........But he repeats something multiple times for folks like you @LJones41 - you should know it when you hear it. I hope it makes you grin.

Really loved the movie and enjoyed it more than the first. I liked the Cable addition/story since I think it propelled the movie better than the first film. The jokes were great. His "death/heaven" scene with Take on Me playing while he reached thru the barrier and changed forms just like in the classic 80's MV was great.

I dunno why Colossus never is in human form in the Deadpool movies though. He was even sleeping in metal form.

I honestly thought Deadpool was going to be dead and that the bottom half of him that was ripped off would heal itself into a second Deadpool.

Loved this. Laughed uproariously throughout. Some great meta jokes, some good action. It's not as groundbreaking as the first, and actually acknowledges that to a degree by revisiting variations of jokes from the first one. But it amps to 11 everything the first did.

That said, it's not a perfect movie. Would have loved more Cable and/or Domino. And I was disappointed that Negasonic was pushed to the side so hard. Especially because Brianna Hildebrand just gets more and more lovely. But it knows what it wants to do, and it goes for it pretty fearlessly. Bonus points for the mid-credit sequence, which really is among the best that has ever been done. That might have been the biggest laugh of the whole film in my screening.

Pretty good, liked the first one more, but still some good stuff here. I feel it needed more Cable and a lot more Domino, but overall I enjoyed with some good moments.

Saw it today.

Very good. I was laughing uncontrollably during the baby legs scene!

They even managed a sweet ending that had me near tears.

Domino is great. Dopinder is out of control. And the Vanisher? He’s awesome!

Thoroughly enjoyed. A-

I give it a B+. I thought the first movie had more LOL moments, but this was just as good storywise. Cable made a compelling antagonist, who eventually became an ally. Cable was driven by rage and a thirst for vengeance, and DP was determined to protect Russell. I think, if anything, Russell should've been called the "John Connor" in this movie. ;)

I was seated next to an African American couple, and the guy kept getting a revolted reaction from every gay reference, e.g., Negasonic and her girlfriend, DP touching Colossus, DP hugging Cable, etc. He would exclaim, "Eww" or "Uh uh!" I found it ironic and rather amusing how a closedminded moviegoer like this gentleman should still enjoy a movie, based on The XMen, that's an allegory of racism and homophobia.

Domino, Cable, Dopinder and pretty much the entire cast was awesome. Finally an awesome Colossus/Jugs fight on screen! The baby legs scene had me in tears. A little slow in the beginning, but then really good after that. Really fun and I think it's a bit better than the original do to a better story.
