DC's New 52: Reviews and Discussion (Spoilers welcolme and likely)

Batman #26 wasn't quite as engrossing as Zero Year has been up to this point, mainly because I felt like we were still in the middle of the issue when it abruptly ended!

Thought I'd ask this here, has Will Payton Starman been re-introduced post nu52?
None of the Starmen have shown up in the nu52, just Star Girl and a recent mention of Sylvester Pemberton.

Mikaal was in the first issue of The Shade, which seems to take place in the New 52. Sort of. He was said to have taken up the mantle of Starman again. But it also mentions his boyfriend dying in Cry for Justice, and there's no way that could have taken place in the new continuity.

Read Justice League 3001 #1 and have mixed feelings about it. I thought the concept of it was very intriguing, very different Howard Porter art than we're probably used to from his JLA run with Morrison. I'll probably stick with it for a while. The twins are interesting characters. I'm guessing the Legion or United Planets don't exist and this is a completely different future now for the 52'Verse, even though A "Great Disaster" is mentioned.

It was interesting enough that I want to read more to see exactly what is going on. I liked the art and really like the character design. Those little hexagons everywhere must be a pain!

Sorry for the double post, but I just finished reading Superboy #26 and felt a little bit lost. I get the feeling a lot has happened over in Teen Titans that I might need to know about. Does anyone know which issue the current time travelling arc started with in Teen Titans?

Justice League 3000 did not interest me.

I'm not reading Superboy but I'm confused.
Superboy was killed in the last issue of the crossover. So how is he still running around with the Teen Titans and his own solo mag?

it's a different guy.

The time travel arc on Titans is not that hot.

Bart is a bad boy form the future and has some problems with Johnny Law.

I think they walk through a vortex in 24, and the 31st century stuff starts in 25.

But they've been dropping bread crumbs about this for years, and it is really not paying off.

I figured that out in issue one. Which is why it took me two years to get around to reading issue 2, of course then I consumed the next 20 issues in a lazy Sunday afternoon... Which did not go down easily.

They are not the JLA's side kicks.

To me, that is just wrong.

No history, no legacy, no torchbearing.
