DC's New 52: Reviews and Discussion (Spoilers welcolme and likely)

I haven't been reading those two weekly books. From the first word of them, they didn't sound interesting or good or relevant. Isn't it all an alternate future or something?

Batman Eternal is decent. But after reading 52 again, it definitely falls in my mind now.

both Earth 2 books have really turned to crap. World's End being the worst.

The editors are Ex-Wizard employees who are pretty notorious for their shoddy work according to people familiar with their Wizard days. It does not help that WE has a terrible writing team too. Wilson should be better off doing a Earth-44 Robot Justice League book since that seems to be his passion.

Earth 2 was really good till the end of the Kryptionan/Bizarro arc. everything after that has been pretty terrible IMO.

Broken record time. Batman #39 was yet another perfect issue. I'm surprised we're already down to the last issue of this storyline. I'm sure it's going to be a doozy!

Yeah, I've really been enjoying Snyder and Capullo's run. I don't want it to end!

So I've been thinking it might be time to start a new thread soon. This one has been running a good three and a half years now and is approaching 9000 posts. On top of that, DC will be dropping the "New 52" branding after Convergence. Does anyone have an opinion on this? Maybe we could start a new one called "DC: Post Convergence Discussion" or something like that.

The "All New", "Heroic Age", nu52, Convergence is just cumbersome. Participants of the thread know it's about current ongoing books anyway.

You guys can do whatever you want. When I started this thread I had originally planned on keeping up to date with the New 52, but I ended up going back to the old stuff instead. I'll leave it up to somebody who is up to date to handle the new thread.

Your loss because Snyder has done some of the most intelligent comic book writing in years. Judging him based off of a cover seems incredibly short-sighted and narrow-minded.
