DC's New 52: Reviews and Discussion (Spoilers welcolme and likely)

Billy Batson/Shazam. Kal-El turns up at the end of the most recent issue looking like Henry Cavill after the oil rig rescue in MoS. Apparently he has been MIA for quite some time.

I dropped it during it's first arc. I'm sure it's gotten better since then but I just couldn't get into it. I will be following the Anny books of the books I'm reading. We're officially in September so happy 3 year Anny 52'Verse!

What is everyone still reading? I'll post my list in a bit. It's dwindled quite a bit.

Aquaman
Aquaman and The Others
Batman 66
Earth 2
Justice League
JLD
Swamp Thing
Wonder Woman
Superman/WW

Batman
Batman and Robin
Superman
Justice League
Green Lantern
Green Lantern Corps
Red Lanterns
Sinestro

And that's pretty much it. My comic reading has dropped a whole lot.

I'm reading the following:

-Action Comics
-Batman
-Batman and Robin
-Batman Eternal (although I've decided to trade wait for this)
-Batman/Superman
-Detective Comics
-He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
-Justice League
-Superman
-Superman/Wonder Woman
-Wonder Woman

Noooooooooo! He's pretty much the best writer DC had. Well, I can't hope that Red Lanterns will continue to be anywhere near as good. There will be some very big shoes to fill.

Yeah in an updated statement he said he's going to be allowed to finish his DC runs, so that's good. His work on "Superman/Wonder Woman" got me to actually like the Diana/Clark relationship. He will be missed there sorely.

Apparently he'll still be on Swamp Thing and Red Lanterns through March at least. Still, it's going to suck. He managed in Red Lanterns to take a book that never rose above mediocre, and turned into one of the very best DC was publishing. I looked forward to a new Red Lanterns as much as I did Snyder's Batman.

I'm watching old Grey's Anatomy.

A woman is wheeled into the ER with a shattered baseball bat puncturing her Sternum called kathy Kane.

:)

Reading:

Action Comics
Batman
Batman Eternal (weekly)
Batman/Superman
Earth 2
Infinite Crisis (digital)
Justice League
Justice League Unlimited
Smallville (digital)
Superman
Superman Unchained (when it ever comes out)
Superman/Wonder Women
Swamp Thing
Teen Titans
Worlds' Finest

I imagine I'll drop Superman/Wonder Woman when Soule leaves.

I wish Bryan Q. Miller would get a regular book (aside from the digital Smallville). He's one of DC's best kept secrets.

Sounds interesting, I never followed the RL series, but maybe will pick up some trades the next time I am in the States.
