My immediate thought was Ra's al Ghul was behind it all.
And I also thought of Gates of Gotham.
I would hate to see what Cap's arm actually looks like behind that shield.
Snyder pretty much abandoned most of the architectural related themes he had GoG and CoO.
Oh that reminds me. Maybe the mystery villain is going to be the long lost brother from Court of Owls? I was so surprised that the Court of Owls just disappeared after those first dozen issues... but then I started reading Talon and realized that series was nothing but Owls.

Don't forget that Batman #28 was also a preview to Eternal and we were shown some very interesting things villain wise there. Snyder stated that if #28 was an issue of Eternal it would be around issue 39.5 and about a year in the future publication wise. So don't forget what we saw in #28. I would hazard a guess that we'll start to see stuff paid off that has been shown in Zero Year. We'll start to see how things are connected in Snyder's run.
DC has finally announced the long awaited and delayed "Multiversity" from Grant Morrison and various artists. It will start in August.

This and his WW are probably the two best things in DC's pipeline.

I could see Bruce saying "No" to the Lazarus Pitt, since it generates meglomaniacal insanity.
Implying Bruce would have a choice in it.
Tim Seeley has been named as the writer of Grayson with Mikel Janin providing the art. As someone who dropped all of his DC books, I have to say I'm on board.

This could be wonderful or it could be terrible. Not too thrilled for Janin on art though.
