DC's New 52: Reviews and Discussion (Spoilers welcolme and likely)

Rich's articles can be difficult to read at times he likes to be have attitude and be goofy and what not in them, but if I read this correctly George Perez had he continued on "Superman" he would have had New 52 Clark deal with the loss of Lana Lang.

We've not seen Lana yet in the New 52 as the article states.
Admiral_Young, it was actually me who sent that Lana Lang story to BleedingCool. Perez mentioned this weekend at Wizard World New Orleans as one of his ideas for Superman he never got to do after telling him how much I've enjoyed his Superman run and wish it could have lasted longer. I myself was not a fan of that idea (I was polite and didn't tell how much I disliked that idea) but it was interesting that he had more ideas for the book and it was just DC's shuffling of many of its books creative teams that cut his run short.

Just loves when old stories are repeated as new stories. We kind of knew this already...although it does clarify what the primer book will be previewing, so I guess that part is new.

Apparently we might get a slew of announcements today. I really hope one of them is the rumoured "The Robins" ongoing.

Okay...Jeff Lemaire is taking over Justice League Dark as of issue nine.

And Peter Milligan's taking over Stormwatch (after Paul Jenkins' couple of issues).

Leave it to Rich to over hype things. He claims to have sources and then nothing really happens that he says that doesn't get reported first by other websites. Still waiting for this supposed Watchmen 2 announcement...he hasn't updated that for a while. Of course it's early in the year but still...I really want this Robins ongoing rumour to be true.

I intensely dislike his arrogance and nonchalant type attitude. I feel like it is part of a shtick but it really shows in his "writing" of articles.

Tomorrow: only Action, Men of War and Batwing for sure, possibly Stormwatch. I was enjoying OMAC, but it feels like it was taking a long view (which is good) before it was cancelled (which is bad).

Levitz/Perez/Maguire? It could be anything and I'd consider it. Power Girl and Huntress = Just Plain There.

I was not expecting the news I got when you said Al Rio wouldn't be with us anymore.
I figured just on a book...not life.
Very sad that something drove him to those ends.

Action Comics, that's all I'm getting tomorrow, I think I'm going to drop Detective.

I still haven't gotten the Donatello one-shot for TMNT so I'll likely get that tomorrow.

EDIT: Okay, I just looked at the plot-tease for DC on DC's website, looks like it might be an interesting issue, actually. Maybe I will pick it up.
