DC's New 52: Reviews and Discussion (Spoilers welcolme and likely)

It looks like we're getting the Legion of Superheroes in issue six of Action Comics...but "suspiciously different versions" whatever this means.

There are more creative changes coming in Feb.

Well not as bad as I thought it would be:

Chiang isn't off WW permanently and the other guy is only a fill-in.

Tom Raney on Suicide Squad!
Waste of his talent. SS is a terrible book. Raney seems to have quite a bit of bad luck with DC books.

Ron Marz off Voodoo because they want a “change of direction”!
Josh Williamson on Voodoo because he is that change of direction.
Good that DC is hiring people from outside their traditional talent pools. Hope he is better than Marz.

Marco Rudy, the first casualty of the DCU is on Swamp Thing instead of Yanick Paquette or Victor Ibanez! Yay Marco!
Excellent news. This guy is 2nd to JH Williams in terms of layouts. He did a great Action Comics Annual with Cornell.

While it is no doubt that Hal will always likely be the most known GL in comic fandom, the GL Saga is about whomever the current editors want it to be about.

And sooner or later, they always want it to be about Hal.

You know, the actual reason that Sinestro came almost straight to Hal is that the current story - snarky comic book reviewers to the contrary - is about Hal Jordan.

Actually Jon Stewart is just as well known as Hal.

Only to people who watch cartoons.

Here are some other competitors for the coveted Miss Congeniality trophy: Guy Gardner, Kyle Rayner, Alan Scott and G'nort.

Hal Jordan is the only Green Lantern who matters.

Which is funny considering he ISN'T really a green lantern anymore becuase he got canned and his job was given to his nemesis.

I mean you have to suck really bad as a superhero if your SUPERVILLAIN ARCH-NEMESIS would do a better job than you.

Oh, yeah...the "archnemesis" who beats a hasty path to Loser Hal's door because - wait for it

He wanted to humiliate Jordan further by being the only reason he gets his powers back AND being able to take them away again when ever he feels like it.

But seriously what the heck did Hal Jordon ever do to John's. Is this because his movie wasn't a major hit?

Only to people who watch cartoons.

Who probably outnumber the comic fans.

Hal Jordan was restored as a Green Lantern by Geoff Johns who is responsible for increasing the characters popularity and sales. I think the problem is that he is getting tired of writing him but because GL's sales seem to be high he won't give up the book.

So what's going to be everyone's pulls tomorrow?

For me:

Batman (the only Batman title I'm really enjoying right now.)
Catwoman
Supergirl
Wonder Woman
