DC Teases Flashpoint

i thought 'Deadman and The Flying Graysons' was a really good mini. didn't care for 'Project: Superman'. 'Abin Sur' was pretty good too.

I know people were complaining (as always) about all of the mini-series, but DC did a good job of putting out enough different stuff for everyone. Deadman and the Flying Graysons didn't interest me, but I'm glad to hear you liked it. Some of the minis are quite good, while others seem like DC used whoever wasn't working on the reboot to throw something together.

In a way, though, I wish DC went full-on Age of Apocalypse, cancelling their main titles before Flashpoint and having only the minis and the main series going on for the summer (yes, AoA only affected the X-titles, but I meant that the X-titles were put on hiatus while it ran its course). I would have picked up more of the minis that way and they could have used more of their talent stable this way.

^ We know why they didn't seep Flashpoint into the rest of their book now don't we? It is the catalyst for the relaunch. I too wondered why they didn't include it in their other books. The stories were part of the normal reality, but Flashpoint was established as the "new" replacement reality that Zoom establishes. I think this is another case of bad planning.

I liked the white event crushing the last pages of all the comics from the "Zero Hour Months" so so so long ago.

But the new destruction of the DCU, the moment of transition, "transitions" from DCU to Flashpoint to new DCU, all takes place after the final issues of all the comics series which we are reading, some of which haven't been printed quite yet, so really Flashpoint hasn't happened as yet to cross over into the current continuity because Flashpoint is postcurrent to what we are reading.
