I was thinking about this and Superman's story is much like those kids from other cultures who were adopted by white folks. From the stuff I've read from Vietnamese and Native American people who were in those situations, they often learn about their birth culture in their teens or early 20s, and while they sometimes adopt what they can from it, it's hard to escape the norms one was raised with. I'd love to see a Superman film written from or informed by that point of view.
Those crystal buildings may look distinctive onscreen, but where the hell do people sit? Where's the fridge?
No Gustaf Skarsgård?Inside the Superman casting process; it’s also suggested that a couple of Skarsgard brothers are on the Luthor shortlist https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/m...-legacy-inside-james-gunns-search-1235523954/
I was thinking that on the basis of Alexander’s performance in Succession, he’d make an excellent “tech bro” style Lex in the vein of Eisenberg/Snyder’s version. No Gustaf Skarsgård?![]()
Rolls right off the tongue.Corenswet and Brosnahan confirmed as Superman and Lois!
OTOH, there might be a lot of people wondering what’s the point in another DC superhero film coming so soon after that movie and Black Adam flopped. Is it paranoid to think they rushed this announcement out to distract attention from "The Flash"?
Um...looks A LOT like henry Cavil.Corenswet and Brosnahan confirmed as Superman and Lois! https://twitter.com/jamesgunn/status/1673785892870447104?s=46&t=4gRLv-uovddel5zbS4TQ9g
