Apparently they optimize the comics for big screens (somehow)
That sounds entirely unappealing to me.
I suspect that's because they still want people to pay for them
DC can either get some money from me or no money. With rotating incomplete runs suggests they will be getting no money from me.
I guess I’ll keep paying for Marvel unlimited.
I wonder if they will be only do this with comics which they have the original artwork? Or at least detailed copies of the art? It’s been a challenge to do high quality reprints of older comics in which the original art no longer exists. Magnifying comics that were printed on newsprint is not going to look great.

That's pretty comics accurate. Like a Richard Case panel brought to life.
It's amazing that superhero movies/TV have become so normalized now that such fanciful designs can be embraced in live action rather than "toned down." How much the landscape has changed thanks to the MCU and the Arrowverse.
Makes sense that they're going with "Elasti-Woman" to avoid clashing with The Incredibles' Elasti-Girl, even though Doom Patrol had the name first. It also avoids the controversy attached to referring to an adult woman as "Girl," since I doubt they'll have Cat Grant show up to give a speech justifying it.

I have had a massive man-crush on Dalton ever since his unutterably brilliant turn as James Bond in The Living Daylights. As long as I live, I will never understand why he wasn't universally hailed in that role. Connery is his only real competition for Best Bond Ever.
So far, Doom Patrol is the only show that interests me. They seem to be doing all the right things....
