DC Cinematic Universe ( The James Gunn era)

Well at least he's not stealing cupcakes........yet.

I would love if we had a mundane scene in the movie where Lex is getting a daily briefing from his assistant and DOES snatch a cupcake from the Lex Corp cafeteria.

It's a slippery slope. You steal a cupcake, next thing you know you're sticking a jolly rancher in a guy's mouth.

David Corenswet and Nicholas Hoult on Jimmy Kimmel last night. It's their first interview together.

David has yet to see the movie. He's waiting to sneak into a theater and watch the audience reaction.

It's nice to know that there's a lot of practical effects in this movie and that James Gunn is a proponent of having as much "in camera" as possible.

Bradley Cooper will portray Jor-El in James Gunn’s upcoming Superman film, as reported by Omelete. Angela Sarafyan, known for her role in Westworld, has been cast as Lara Lor-Van, Superman’s biological mother.

Both characters appear in the film’s opening sequence, as shown in a 30-minute preview screened at global fan events. In this scene, Superman arrives injured at the Fortress of Solitude. Robotic assistants then play a recorded holographic message from Jor-El and Lara, spoken in Kryptonian.

I love her.

Here's the movie's new official synopsis:

"Superman fights to stop Lex Luthor's evil plans and to restore his own tarnished reputation in this fantasy action adventure."
