I've said this before in another thread - when Sylvester Stallone was in Seattle filming the movie Assassin's, Dad and Darla watched him and his bodyguards walk through the downtown restaurant they were having dinner at.
Stallone's official height is listed as 5'10".
They both said that he's 5'8"-5'9" even with lifts and that's because Dad and Darla happened to be standing up when he walked by and Darla is 5'9"-5'10" and she was slightly taller than Stallone.
There's a story Angelique Pettijon told about reading for "The Gamesters of Triskelon."
She said she told the casting director, "I want this part, but I'm not sure I'm right. She's described as a green-haired amazon. I'm no amazon."
And the director chuckled and said, "Honey, you haven't met Shatner. Next to him, you'll be an amazon."
