David Hasselhoff hospitalized

Dusty Ayres

Commodore
David Hasselhoff has reportedly been hospitalized following a three-day drinking binge. The former Baywatch star was taken to a Los Angeles hospital by his 17-year-old daughter Hayley on Sunday, but friends believe he still won’t accept he has a problem with alcohol. A source close to Hasselhoff claims he’s been hospitalized five times in five years following alcohol-related incidents, but remains in denial about his situation.

Well, be honest. If you were David Hasselhoff wouldn't you have a drinking problem too?

I like the HOFF I hope he pulls through and finally accepts his disease and seek some help. Thank god for his daughter. I doubt he would still be alive if it wasnt for her. I always say interfere if you love the person. That bs about not helping those who are drug or alcohol addicted. My GF has been almost six years sober free. She had a wakeup call and no one gave up on her, especially me.

Poor guy. :(

I have no sympathy. He clearly has a problem and refuses to accept it and change. He is prioritising alcohol over his own well being and the feelings of his family and friends.

After being hospitalised four times previously, if he goes on a three day drinking binge, it's his own damn fault. Idiot.

Gary Coleman has also been hospitalized and is reported to be in critical condition.

I hope he has a short-stay in the hospital.

...

Ok, that one was uncalled for.

In all seriousness, I hope both recover and get out soon.

Lets hope someone shows mercy on you if you ever have such a problem.

If a person hurts themself or drinks themself unconscious then clearly they must have some idea they have a problem but can't help themselves. There is obviously a deeper problem here and alcohol is being used to tend to that.

Oh, I hope someone shows mercy on him. I do like the Hoff, and I do hope he gets this problem sorted, but until he steps up and takes action, I can't be sympathetic towards him because he's selfishly hurting himself and those around him

Its a real shame he is having so much trouble controlling the demon drink, and cant be much fun for his family either, i hope he beats it soon for all their sakes.

That was the episode where it was revealed that KITT wasn't actually a talking computer, but that Gary Coleman was hiding in the trunk and talking to Michael Knight via a voice modulator.
