David Carradine has died

Where was Uma Thurman when this happened? HMM sounds like Bill was really killed this time..

Pretty sad if it was went the Michael Hutchence way.

I have my doubts. Maybe even murder disguised as suicide.

My moment of inappropriate laughter was not about auto eroticism, but... how bad must the film he was working on be?!

I keep thinking about that Family Guy episode where Peter is the third grade spelling contest and he asks Tom Tucker to use the word "tree" in a sentence.

"I took a couple of prostitutes down to the old oak tree where I aspyxiated myself as I watched the two of them make out."

However it happened, we lost a good actor and an even better presence.

Speaking only as a fan, he'll certainly be missed.

RIP David.

I was a fan when my mom made me watch the old Kung Fu show in reruns all the time. Then i started to appreciate his acting. I even liked KF: The Legend Continues!

I heard people talk of rumors of murder...wouldn't you think though he would be able to hold off a murderer? He was a marital artist..it wasn't just for show. You'd think he would have struggled.

The whole sexual thrill angel...I don't know. Just odd.

But however it ends up..I am sorry the man is gone.

Even a martiial artist can be overtaken and caught by surprise. I doubt it's murder but the death is still suspicious.

I don't think he would kill himself, he was making a movie, he has a family, just doesn't make sense he would do that out of the blue.

I remember enjoying Kung Fu: The Legend Continues. Any word on when it might be available on dvd or online..?

And the wife and manager are disputing suicide and claiming foul play, even though it is leaning towards accidental death.

While I liked him as a brooding villain in Kill Bill, from some fans I've heard plenty of horror stories about Carradine being a bit of prick at convention signings and the like, with his sullenness sometimes flaring up into intimidation. Still, a disappointing death that was violent and squalid.

I wonder why he didn't hire a prostitute to, *cough*, back him up with his more risky bedroom activities.

Okay, in light of this tragedy, I decided to finally get around to watching my copy of the 3rd season of Kung Fu. The first episode of that season has Caine learning his grandfather has died, apparently by suicide. Caine quickly discovers evidence to the contrary and he will not rest until he uncovers the truth, thus bringing peace to the deceased.

Holy crap, that was surreal.... :(
