Since I no longer operate the official website, I thought this would be the best place to announce this bit of news.
After 2 years, Encarta IV: Dark Hope will receive a minor re-treatment. I was contacted via Nextcat by a composer who was very inspired by the opening credit sequence and decided to compose a soundtrack to the sequence. In turn, I was so inspired by his work that I contacted him to see if he'd be interested in composing the entire film. He has agreed to the project.
While this isn't necessarily a new film in production, it feels good for me to be able to say I'm working on Star Trek again. I've agreed to, for all intents and purposes, re-release the film with his soundtrack and an addition of his credit. At this time, I don't plan to make any other changes to the film. If all the cards align correctly and all goes well I plan to re-release the film, this time in HD, on YouTube.
Who knows, if all goes well, maybe I'll be inspired enough to write another one of these damned things.
In the meantime I've accepted a role on Star Trek: Mariner, playing the Vulcan Chief Engineer. Just trying to keep busy! http://mariner.gfcmedia.net/index
