Spoilers Daredevil: Born Again discussion thread

I watched that last night and would've shared it but I didn't want to triple post. I love their friendship and how they handled the spice levels. :lol:

Also, I suddenly realized in that particular interview that Charlie Cox's mannerisms reminds me a lot of Daniel Radcliffe.

Thing is, I associate Cox so much to Daredevil that when I see him in interviews or other roles it always freaks me out for a moment or two that he can actually see.
 
Yeah, I can see that (no pun intended) freaking someone out if that's what they know him from primarily. I already knew and loved him in Stardust and Boardwalk Empire long before Daredevil so it's less of an issue for me.

Some eagle-eyed viewers not only spotted Mahoney at the 11-second mark, but also possibly Wesley?!?! at the 12-second mark.

If so, this could explain
Foggy's role this season. Maybe a series of flashbacks? However, some comments suggest maybe Foggy and Wesley are voices in Matt's and Fisk's respective heads? I could see that working!

Both interviews are worth watching (the second half is with the showrunners) but the most interesting part that comes out of both of them is the discussion about the unique Daredevil suit this season.
 
I saw that on the Marvel IG page, it's great to see how much fun she was having, and how enthusiastic she is to be back. I just hope this season isn't the last we see of her. It could be fun to see her paired up with someone from outside the Netflix group, like Doctor Strange or Spider-Man.

We've talked about this before. We'll probably keep seeing it in Marvel projects too, like more special episodes or whatever. Which shows or movies they'll appear in is something only Marvel knows right now.
 
Ugh. Disney UK have been advertising this as coming today on Insta etc, go to watch it over breakfast and suddenly - Coming 25th plastered all over (which wasn't there when I checked before 8).
 
The Internet is telling me that the S2 premier is at 9PM EDT today, March 24, 2026, in the USA on Disney+. Given that EDT is UTC-04:00, that time would be at 01:00, 25 March 2026 GMT. Would that be when the premier is in the UK?

It just says 25th on the app, not a specific time. Most times I find D+ puts stuff up at 8am
 
Thank you, I came here to ask it if was coming out a specific time today. I was just on Disney+ looking for it, but it's not up yet, and all it says is today's date. I thought they usually said on the show's page if it was coming out at a specific time?
 
All eight episode titles leading up to the Punisher special. They better promote the special soon shouldn't they?

Don't believe so but based on the "all of the characters in one shot" from the trailer, I'm guessing towards the end of the season. Or one early and one at the end.
 
I think I read somewhere that she's going to be a regular through the whole season, but I can't remember if that was from someone actually from the show, or just someone jumping to assumptions.
 
^ Whereas, I read that she was going to have a role similar in size to what Frank Castle had in season 1.

Episode 1

So that psychiatrist has just become cartoonishly evil. I still don't understand how a serial killer attacking her makes her hate vigilantes to the point of becoming irredeemably evil, its almost like there is no connection but the show needed more drama so it made a connection up.

Also, You know, I think that Fisk's task force might be a stand in for ICE, but its so subtle I'm not sure :lol:

But a city specific group like this is pretty ridiculous even by superhero show standards. At least an evil Federal Government group makes sense in the MCU and, unfortunately, IRL. But a city mayor couldn't set up his own secret prison. A task force? Yes, easily, but a secret "we can keep you here forever" prison is not something that a Mayor could do and just kind of makes the Kingpin plot silly. If they gave him specific Government support I could maybe see it, but right now its just kind of stupid.

Overall not a great episode or start to the season, I have a feeling that Season 2 isn't going to live up to Season 1, especially if "Mayor Kingpin vs Vigilantes" is the plot of the whole season.
