So I hear a knock on my door a minute ago, which is quite odd, since almost nobody knows where I live (certainly not the exact apartment). I open the door and it's a guy with two pizzas. I tell him he must have the wrong place. He looks at the address listed and says is this [insert address of my place]. I tell them that it is, but I didn't order the pizza. He then decides to call whoever ordered it and walks off.

I should have first asked if it was pre-paid by credit card before telling him anything else.

It could have been from someone he knew who figured he might be hungry. I used to do that for friends and family all the time. I'd order a pizza and have it delivered to a friend whom I knew didn't have much money. Fortunately, the Pizza delivery places never questioned this.

The pizza box would have the delivery and billing address on the side. My friends would recognize the billing address and know I had sent it. I wanted to have that part hidden, but your concerns were exactly why I didn't. I mean, I wouldn't accept an unknown pizza delivered to me either. Wait, maybe if it had extra cheese and onions.

I thought about that (or more likely, tried to rationalize accepting it by thinking this). However, unless it's my family or (ironically) one specific member of this board, I don't think anyone knows my specific address.

Back when I was in undergrad, I once walked down the street drunk and another guy who was drunk saw me and gave me his pizza. I started eating it on the way back. It wasn't until I got back to my house that I realized that maybe that wasn't the smartest idea.
