Spoilers Dahj's "mother" might be someone we know from TNG

I believe she could be a reactivated Lal (maybe in a new or modificated body) and she wanted her "daughter" to search Picard's help, because he was trying to help her during "The Offspring".

Does she have mom or dad for that matter? I mean I guess Data's DNA made him both. I thought they were created in a lab?

The way mon capitan was trying to comfort Dahj about her memories made me think he'd already realized "there's some Bladerunner merde going on, ici"

I don't think her mother was anything more than a construct
The Holo communication did glitch when Dahj caught her lying about mentioning Picard. I think you're right.

I think Dahj/Soji were built up from Lal's Quantum Neurons.
Yeah, that's possible. With the advancement of Federation technology between TNG and the time Dahj was supposedly created, i guess she didn't need to die for this to work.

So i think the woman she communicated with could still be Lal.

Data doesn't have DNA.

That's why she said, and also I was confused about what the doctor was talking about when creating the twins. I thought she was talking about DNA or maybe I am getting confused. Are the twins, humans with positronic brains or simply androids made to feel and look so human they are basically Ron Moore Cylons?

This is a great idea, Lal would know who she could trust, so if Data is not available, Picard would be the next best help.

Nobody cares about Lal, so no.

Data cared for her and obvioisly Picard too. It would be nice to see her again. Maybe the actress who played Lal in 'The Offspring' might return, changing appearance shouldn't be too hard for androids.

The actual “mom” figure who she called, knows exactly who she is and knew she was with Picard. So who is she? I’d focus more on real live “mother” than some figurative “mother” person.

I was talking about the audience. And Hallie Todd is almost 60 years old, so no again.
