CW network working on Batwoman series

Dumb question. Who is "Grace"?

Her full name is Grace Randolph. She is the host of a popular youtube channel called "Beyond the Trailer" with over 756,000 subscribers where she reviews movies and also discusses movies, tv shows and hollywood news.

She's also done some comic book writing for BOOM! Studios.

Does she always speak in a singsongy YouTube voice?

Uhm...

The idea of a crossover is exciting but I need to come up with an idea that's different in my own imagination.

He just says they're not gonna do a crossover until a right idea comes along.
That's pretty much the same official response on crossovers given when Supergirl first started out.

In that interview he hasn't even ruled out crossovers in the future, let alone made it clear they "have no desire to have Black Lightning co-exist with the other CW superhero series" as you've put it.

Black Lightning follows a completely different format from the series that exist as part of the Arrowverse's Multiverse, so it's not simply a matter of saying that BL's characters exist on one of the 53 worlds that make up the internal Multiverse of the Arrowverse.

Black Lightning is a "black family drama" couched in the guise of a "superhero series" and therefore has very different sensibilities.
That has nothing to do with whether or not a show is set in the same multiverse as other shows. If Guardians of the Galaxy and Winter Soldier can co-exist, or Star Trek: TOS and Discovery can co-exist , then I don't see why Black Lightning can't co-exist with in the Arrowmutiverse. Hell, just look at how different the early Arrow seasons are from Legends of Tomorrow or at just look how diverse DC and Marvel's comic lines are.
It really has nothing to do with the types of stories or the style, and more to do with how badly the people in charge want the characters to interact.
It might be a bit hard for it to take place on Earth 1 but we still don't know a ton about Earth 23 outside of National City. Even if that doesn't work, the Flash has established a pretty big multiverse and we still know a ton about the other Earths besides Earths 2 and X, so it could always take place on one of them.
I just realized that the addition of Batwoman will give us three major gay characters across the Arrowverse, that's pretty impressive for a franchise that isn't based around it's characters being gay.

3 gay characters (but I count 4 including Sarah --or 6 given the extended characters) is probably about normal in relation to the number of straight characters in terms of the general population average, or maybe even slightly below normal.

While it's terrible, it's also to be expected. These dickhead trolls have had some major successes in driving off people they don't like from Social Media, from Kelly Marie Tran, Millie Bobby Brown, and the actress playing Starfire in "Titans" (forgot her name). I can't blame any of these actresses from getting out of Social Media, because none of them signed on for that crap, but the consequence is that the trolls feel victorious, and since they were successful, they will certainly continue doing this shit to others.

Anna Diop.

Seems to me we should be blaming Twitter. Why can't they contain this kind of hate speech?

Twitter. Where adding "Elon Musk" to your Twitter handle gets you banned, but peddling Nazism and bigotry & harassing the hell out of women and minorities doesn't.

Semi-related: How in the actual fuck is Alex Jones still not banned!?

Of course it's to be expected. There's been a pattern of this shit for quite some time now. These things shouldn't happen, but they do.
