CURE MY HEADACHE!!!!1!

If I have a really bad migraine, I take paracetamol plus aspirin (I also exceed the recommended doses a bit; you should not) and go lie down in a dark room and try to sleep it off.

The worst thing I find if one comes on is to keep staring at any VDU or remain anywhere with artificial lighting.

I can't get away from the VDU, I have to finish this drawing by tomorrow morning. Couple more hours at least.

Change of environment and a meal helped somewhat, my head still feels like it's being clamped by an enormous clamp capable of creating enormous clamping forces.

C2 body right or body left. Cervical break index or perhaps a rotary pull. Supine or seated.

*POP*

You'll feel better . . .

Porn. Orgasm. Instant (temporary) natural euphoria. Take aspirin or whatever for Migraine. Let them both do their jobs, rest, eat something.

Took a swig (glass) of Medical Gin with a teaspoon of Fruit Punch Powder and a short "close eyes and idle brain" nap. Muuuuch better.

It's a migraine, very little I can do until I get home. Just thought I'd toss out there and see what kinds of cures people try for headaches... beyond the pills and potions.

Oh and since I am acting MISC mod I hereby declare today and every day forevermore NACHOS AND BACON DAY.

Migraine eh? Make yourself throw up then take a nap.. That always worked with me.

Me too, and I don't have to "make myself".

Those chronic migraines are a pain in the ass, and aside from the stuff my doctor gives me for them (which don't always work), sleeping them off is the ONLY way they go away.

I'm not "chronic" I'll go for very long stretches then something triggers one. But it is good to know other people suffer as well, and that there are other non-alcohol based "cures" I can attempt. :)

I'm a third generation sufferer myself. Got them from my mom, who got them from her dad. I learned treatment tricks from my mom, since Grandpa didn't know what the hell was happening to him.

So, they don't run in your family, huh?

No. At least no one else claims to have them.

Mine seem to have a trigger. It's not stress, its not light, its not noise. I'm not sure what causes it

Excedrin MT. Acetaminophen, Caffeine and Aspirin. Fuck yeah!

I keep a bottle at the office.
