Curb Your Enthusiasm is back.

"I got Sweded!"

Bob Einstein is hilarious, he can crack me up with just a look. But he has had some kind of plastic surgery or something that I find pretty distracting. Maybe I'll get used to it, but man he looked artificial in that episode.

The scene with the girl scout (the girl from Justified) could have been bad but Larry did a good job of stopping just short of creepy.

I will not miss Cheryl at all, she used to be an OK foil for Larry but she ended up just being a drag and a nag. If she and Larry really become enemies it might be funny, but otherwise I'm fine if they just drop her.

I loved Suzy's immediate, total war reaction to the mention of divorce, and then how beaten-down Jeff was later in the episode.

Not a great first ep but pretty, pretty, pretty... pretty good. I have high hopes for the season.

That scene still managed to creep me out.
With that said, the scene where a tampon was shoved up Larry's nose to stop the nose bleed made up for it. :)

Larry David's show is just too uncomfortable for me to watch. And this is coming from a guy who watches "Louie."

I have to wait for the show on DVD. :( Glad to hear they're in top form. :bolian:

Larry David's show is just too uncomfortable for me to watch.

That's how I know I'm getting my money's worth - when every so often, I have to slap my hand to keep it away from the ff button (and for once, not because I'm bored!)

The second episode was much funnier than the first. The misunderstanding about Leon and Larry was great.

I loved Larry's abusive relationship with Leon as observed by the doctor. His conversation in the "home" with the ladies was pretty funny as well.

Another strong episode, and agreed the mix-up over Leon was classic. Richard Lewis' looks of frustration and sadness were cracking me up. Curtis Armstrong just giving up on his laptop rather than risk appearing racist was also great. I thought the talk in the women's living room was maybe a little over-played to make Larry look like a jerk, but that was minor.

Looking forward to next week, looks like more Funkhouser.

The first episode was a solid classic. The second one was also solid. But hell if we had to wait TWO YEARS then they better be classics!

Two years? Did you see last season aka the Seinfeld season? Actually last season had the longest wait as we nobody was even sure if there'd be another season until they announced the whole Seinfeld reunion. This felt like a year in comparison.

Sorry, I thought it was two years since the Seinfeld season. I know I got the DVD of it about a year ago, so I assumed the actual episodes aired many months before that.

It's been more like a year and a half. Season seven aired between September 20 and November 22 of 2009.

Loved the season premiere. Haven't seen the second episode yet, but if it's Leon-based, I'm sure it will be terrific.

I get hungry when watching this show. They're always in a fecking restaurant...

Liking the new season so far.
