Granted one of them is absolutely gorgeous but he could be a troll and I would still have a crush. He is almost everything I would normally look for in RL.

Actually, this thread made me think about the definition of a "crush", especially on the net. There are lot of people here that I think are awesome. Really, really awesome. Some are males, some are females, some I don't even know. But being awesome is not enough to me to have a crush. There are some posters here that always put a smile on my face, that are thoughtful, smart and sarcastic, quality I hold in great regard (Holdfast is an easy example, but there are many others). But I think that a crush have also a component of physical attraction, so that excludes the dudes and the dudettes who, while being pretty, simply don't tickle my funny bone in the right way.

So, in the end, I'm not surprised to find that the list is at least partially look-oriented: the point was not to list the people you like, but the people you fancy. That's another concept entirely.

(coincidentally, that line of reasoning gives me peace of mind for not being on the list, since I never even thought of putting my ugly mug on the board: to paraphrase a famous saying, I don't suffer from paranoia, I enjoy every minute of it.)
