Re "Cupcake": Jason Matthew Smith, last seen in Star Trek XI, will be on the USS Enterprise again in Star Trek 2.

As recently suggested by an easter egg in IDW's "Star Trek Ongoing" comic: Issue #8, "Vulcan's Vengeance, Part 2", names him "Hendorff".

Memory Beta notes that, in the Blish adaptation, and some later non-canon works, his name was spelled with only one "f", in difference from the final episode credits.
