Cumberbatch is also playing the voices of Smaug the dragon and The Necromancer in the new Hobbit films coming up (I think only the "Part Two" movie).

Interestingly enough, his Sherlock costar Martin Freeman stars in those films as Bilbo Baggins. Freeman plays Dr. Watson in Sherlock.
