If it tastes like regular Pepsi (I haven't had it) how is it better than regular Pepsi?Anyone remember Crystal Pepsi??? Tasted like Pepsi but was clear.
I mixed Coke and Pepsi together once to see what would happen. Turns out Coke + Pepsi = RC Cola.I miss Coke II.
I never had any idea what the difference was between it and regular Coke.
It tasted just like Pepsi.
It's not just Mexican Coke... from what I understand Canadian Coke and Coke from all over South America is also still made with real (cane or beet) sugar rather than the evil high fructose corn syrup used in the US.you people and your "Coca-Cola" and your "NEW Coca-Cola" "and your "Coke Zero" blah blah blah blah, there's only one true incarnation of the stuff, and thats "Mexican Coca-Cola"
I'm with you. Was in Germany for Oktoberfest, and drank more than a few Coke Lights to try and snap out of it in the mornings. More or less Diet Coke, but the taste wasn't quite right. Actually tasted more similar to Coke Zero.
You don't have Jolt in the US any more? Oh the humanity! It's easily the best cola around.I miss Jolt.
Never had such a problem when I was in the US. Just the same there as here, dumbasses are aplenty. As I was born in 1985, I understand why I wouldn't be familiar with "New" Coke.
It does crack me up when foreigners come to my bar and ask for "Coke Lite." As I have never heard of such a thing, I give them Diet Coke.
Considering it is called "Coca Cola light" in Europe (atleast it is in Sweden) it isnt too big a wonder. I mean.. most of us has heard that you guys call it "Coke" (which is a drug someone tragically shoots up with a needle), so we conform in calling it that. But "diet" isnt that well known.
I get my panties in a bunch because when I got to the states the first time and tried to order a soda, the guy in the bar made a gigantic big fuss and rolled his eyes at me when i had said 3 times what i wanted, going from "clear english" to "shy unnerved omg i cant even order a soda.." - voice.
I mean Gees, thanks man. Let´s see how well you order stuff in Swedish.
I had said "A coca cola light, please". Apparantly it is a gigantic mystery.
The biggest problem I have with foreigners at my bar is not that I don't understand what they're saying, but I'm often not sure if they're just calling something by a different name. You don't have Jolt in the US any more? Oh the humanity! It's easily the best cola around.I miss Jolt.

Actually, yeah it was. I'm just quoting Homer Simpson.

Honestly, I never encountered such a problem. The biggest problem I have with foreigners at my bar is not that I don't understand what they're saying, but I'm often not sure if they're just calling something by a different name.
Coke Light. I've never seen it, so I didn't know it was a real thing. I wasn't sure if it was just their name for Diet Coke or if it was a completely different drink altogether.
It's a minor thing, but it's enough to make you wonder what other cultural differences there are in the simplest of things, like Coca Cola.

You got to buy something kid, before I can give you a tab.
I bought my mother a bunch of that when it first came out. She had always told me how much she loved vanilla Coke when she was a kid. I thought it was okay, but a bit too sweet for my taste.I'd say that Diet Cherry Coke is pretty nice though. I really miss Vanilla Coke though. Loved that staff.
Well, it's not something that happens a lot.Honestly, I never encountered such a problem. The biggest problem I have with foreigners at my bar is not that I don't understand what they're saying, but I'm often not sure if they're just calling something by a different name.

Then again I've been pretty damn well immersed in American culture most of my life, and when I visited the US my English was actually better then most of the people that actually lived where I visited![]()
