[The Wormhole]

I like the one episode of DS9 where Gul Dukat talks about a Gul Mercet, and how he dislikes him so much, but Gul Mercet was featered in TNG and both characters were played by Marc Almaino.

I don't remember any DS9 episode where Dukat mentions Gul Macet, and neither does Memory Alpha. Although the novels claim the two are cousins, that isn't canon.

^Huh, I'm pretty sure it was "Indescretion." Dukat was telling Kira about when he gets a good position in the military again he is going to send this particular Gul to an icy planet, I think the conversation started with them talking about how cardassians love the heat. I don't know I'm going off of memory so I could be wrong.

ok, I stand corrected, I looked around on Memory Alpha and found that it was actually Gul Marratt, and the episode was "Return to Grace." I must have gotten the episodes confused because he was talking about sending Marratt to the Breen Embassy, and the episode was a follow up to "Indescretion." My bad.

Still it would have been funny.

^Yeah. Why Marrat? Why didn't they just call Dukat's enemy Gul Macet? That would have indeed been funny.

Oh yeah, one of my favourite little nods to another series was Tuvok appearing as one of the rebels in DS9's mirror universe.

I'd never heard about that! That's awesome.
