I think my daughter might have subconsciously drawn inspiration from him
I have a favor to ask. If anyone here is familiar with the Britcom "Keeping Up Appearances," I would appreciate some feedback on a fanfiction story I've just completed.
I regard this as first draft, as it's still not quite up to "post it online" standards yet. My eventual goal is to post it on a couple of the fanfiction sites I belong to. As it's fanfiction, of course no profit can be made from this, and I wouldn't even try.
What I hope to get from anyone here who might want to read it now is whether the plot makes sense (keeping in mind that this is a quirky comedy that doesn't always make sense to normal people but does when you know how odd some of the characters are). Does it seem true to the characters? Is the resolution satisfying? How could I improve it?

Btw, I've been thinking about getting a tattoo. This is my attempt to create the tattoo I want, but I still want the art to be done by a professional tatoo artist.
With the rise of the right everywhere I wanted to do this when Trump was no longer president, but with the increased attempts at gerrymandering and all the vile things, i'm worried about the next election.
So I thought why not now? My tattoo is a combination of both my identity as a lesbian and a someone with autism, the quote seemed appropriate considering the whole tylenol business and the increased hostility towards the LGBTQI community. But the quote should be under the lesbian infinity symbol, not above it. What I haven't decided is where I should put it on my arm, should put somewhere visible? Or invisible by my sleeve? It's going to be my first tattoo

So, I've been putting together what my family would deem 'dubious' art. I'm not even aiming in a particular direction, I'm throwing together some pretty random chaos.

Gah. It's 20 minutes to midnight here, and I can't shake the idea that in 21 minutes I should be registering for NaNoWriMo and starting my 50,000 words.
NaNoWriMo doesn't exist anymore. Kilby Blades (thoroughly disgusting woman who was the last person responsible for it and she rammed it into the ground) killed it.
But ever since 2007 I've at least tried to reach for that 50k goal and have succeeded every year since 2018 (first win was 2016; 2017 didn't happen because the computer died).
It's part of my life now to do 50k words in November. So even though there's nowhere to record all the daily and weekly progress points and nobody in the NaNo forums to talk to about it (whether my own projects or theirs), I'm still going to try it. I've got multiple writing projects on the go, and I should be able to get 1667 words/day for the next 30 days out of one of them.
And Kilby Blades can go to hell.
