Crazy movie ideas!

TNG should've had a movie where it combined forces with ALL of the other 24th Century STAR TREKs, to combat some incredible foe. Tell me that wouldn't have set the entertainment world afire!

I would have preferred to see Kirk survive Generations, pull his usual MO and wrangle command away from Picard (or have the plot just kill the boring bastard on the planet instead of Kirk) and take the Enterprise E with a blended crew of 24th Century Trek characters. They of course, would encounter Ambassador Spock, and Scotty's Shuttlecraft. If Picard died to save Kirk, then Kirk could see it as his duty to look after Picards crew. ;)

Starfleet Academy Musical - Basically it's High School Musical, but at Starfleet Academy
The Withdrawal Games - It's The Hunger Games except about a group of Jem'Hadar who must compete against each other for Ketracel White.

Star Trek Mountain. Like Brokeback Mountain but with Kirk and Spock.
That's what the beginning of The Final Frontier was suppose to be, but then McCoy overheard and insisted on going camping too, then Sulu and Chekov heard ...

The Final Frontier

Change the ending so that Sybok does find God at the destination (not a alien with a few powers), God quietly sits Sybok down for some gentile conversation, tells Sybok his mind-rape of the Enterprise crew violate their free will, explains some other things and send him on his way. All the weapons on the BOP are turned into flowers.

The movie ends in a party aboard the Enterprise.

^^"Captain, I am the Ghost of Christmas Past."
Then the crew spends twenty minutes trying to rationalize the existence of a time-travelling ghost with technobabble.

Maybe if we did variations of the story to fit each of the various cultures of Star Trek. Like the Ferengi version where Ferengi Scrooge learns the moral that being a greedy douche is the right thing to do. Or the Klingon version where Scrooge must learn to be honourable. Or the Cardassian version written as an Enigma novel which ends with everyone being found guilty of something and being summarily executed.

This actually exists, although it is a non-canonical stage production. A Klingon Christmas Carol debuted in 2007 and is performed several times every year in the United States, often in more than one location. I have it on DVD, and can confirm that it is brilliant.

Personally, I'd love to see a Klingon rendition of Ivanhoe. A Klingon warrior named Hay'van (endearingly called Hay'vanoy by his love, ro'Ina' joH) must prevent a pretender to the throne, named jan QangHom, while the true heir to the throne, qeylIS 'Iptay rISQaD (Kahless epetai-Riskadh) is off in the Krotmag region fighting to bring the region into the Empire. Along his way he meets 'ay'SeQ, a man who is persecuted because he rejects the way of the warrior, and his daughter rewbe'qa', who cares for Hay'van and falls in love with him. The high point of the movie is when Hay'van, barely recovered from his injuries, enters as rewbe'qa''s cha'DIch into a bat'leth duel of the death against bIray'an Santay ghIlbergh.

I always thought each series should have its own rendition of A Christmas Carol lol

No desire for that after Data's rendition of Scrooge, even though I love both Trek and A Christmas Carol ...

You've got a Klingon. He visits an "abandoned" planet. You can make up whatever contrived reason you like as to why he's there.

But anyway. The Klingon warrior maybe none the wiser about it but the planet actually isn't uninhabited at all!

It's home to a micro-civilisation of gnat sized beings. But they are undergoing a civil war. And so we have two rival fleets of gnat-sized beings on gnat sized ships using the Klingon's body - both inside and out - as one big theatre of war. So whilst the gnat-sized beings are undergoing a struggle for life and death, the film will also have some comic relief wideshots of the Klingon sniffling and blowing his nose thus giving the opportunity for the audience to knowingly chuckle "If only he knew..."

Oh and mods if you want to move this post from the "crazy idea" thread to the "great idea" thread, I fully understand.

A couple ideas that I think would be awesome (Serious ideas) but would not make money.

Star Trek: WWIII

We saw the best of humanity, now let's explore the worst. The story follows a family just trying desperately to survive as their species nearly destroys itself.

Star Trek: Time Gladiators

In the far future, temporal historians decide to determine for themselves which historical dynasties so the strongest. So they create a pocket fishbowl universe and bring in entire fleets from the a Federation, Dominion, Iconians, etc and make them wage war against each other to see who would win.

Star Trek: The musical

A regular star trek story except that every now and then one of the characters sings a song about what's happening while maybe tap-dancing or just walking around if it's worf.

I felt embarrassed for the actors who had to go through that, especially Shatner.
Shatner as a horse is without a doubt terrible.

Damn, that's pretty cool.

E.T.

The O'briens makes an emergency landing on an post industrial world and leaves behind Molly. Molly wanders into a town where she befriends an alien and has it help her build a subspace radio to call home.

Whereas I say it's amazing because it have us this decades later;
