Crap. Bernard Fox died.

A very long career indeed. IMDB has over 100 credits for him. I remember back in Hogan's Heroes and Man From UNCLE. He had a very memorable voice.

89 years is a darn good run. Cheers to you, sir.

Also Malcolm Merriweather on The Andy Griffith Show. He was one of Hollywood's go-to Brits for a while.

One of the last Bewitched regulars (Bernie Kopell and the child actors are the only ones left that come to mind). What a strong supporting company that show had: Fox, Marion Lorne, Paul Lynde, Maurice Evans, Alice Ghostly... Sorry to see him go.

I mostly remember him from The Mummy and Titanic. He made relatively minor roles somewhat memorable to me. RIP.

"Calling Dr Bombay, calling Dr Bombay...."

Another one of those unique character actors of the breed you just don't see anymore. He was great in everything he did and always a pleasure to see, like an old friend.

RIP, Bernard Fox. :(

How odd. I was thinking about him a few weeks ago. I even checked up on this IMDB page. I didn't realize that he had appeared in two Titanic films. RIP Mr. Fox. You were one of the best character actors around.

RIP Bernard Fox. You will be remembered for all those characters you made entertaining.
I enjoyed the humor as a boy in the '70s watching reruns of his depiction of both Col. Rodney Crittendon and Dr. Bombay.

RIP Mr. Fox. I enjoyed his acting and he had such a long career. Bewitched, Hogan's Heroes, Titanic, The Mummy. I just watched The Mummy last month. 2016 has been a year of sadness.

Yep. I'm doing a DVD re-watch of both Bewitched and Hogan's Heroes right now (on the final seasons of both), and sadly, the latest Crittendon episode happened to fall on the day he died.
