Craig Ferguson, now in glorious HD!

Man, it is SO nice to see Craig back. And the new, slightly revamped HD version is better than ever.

He was already the best host in late night, and now in HD and widescreen, he completely blows them out of the freakin water.

The new opening totally rocks, and it's obvious he's really feeling energized by the new changes. He was wackier than EVER last night. :D

Anybody else catch it?

You talking about Emily DeChanel? Saw it. She's a twit but he had a good time goofing around with her.

I missed it! Damn I thought it was one more week of reruns!

Now if they fixed HD, did they fix his roof? If so what will he bitch about now? lol

I saw it last night. Love that he started with his "Ferguson" puppet!

You know I almost thought he was going to make a joke about keeping it quiet that "her key light was out"! I so could see Craig making that into something else, he usually does. Nice that the Deschanel sisters have both been in on in the span of about 2months.

TWO NEW LIGHTS BABY!!!

Yeah they sure have a lot of problems with the lights on this show. The guests' lights are always going out, and anytime Craig moves around he ends up in the shadows.

You'd THINK the producers would be ready for that kind of thing by now. lol

I'm also a little surprised they didn't build a new set for him. The current one looks fine, but I figured with the big switch and all that time off they would have come up with something different.

You'd think they'd upgrade the set substantially, but given Craig's recent interviews, It might be that he's just fine with the set as is. He just wants it to hold together during the show. :D

Woot! Missed the first one, will tune in.

I can't wait for Letterman to retire so Craig can assume his rightful place as King of Late Night. :)

...and he had to leave Scotland and become an American citizen to do it! LOL

Whether you like him...or don't like him...learn to love him!

Because he's the best thing going today!

WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

*apologies to Ric Flair*

I don't know, I really like the setup Craig has now. I'm afraid if he moved to 11:30 he'd end up just as neutered and generic as Conan is now.

The best thing NBC could do right now is wait for Ferguson's contract to expire and offer him a blank check to replace Jimmy Fallon.

It'll never happen, because Ferguson has said, many times, that he's very grateful to David Letterman and Worldwide Pants for giving him the opportunity to host a late-night talk show, and he's hinted that he might even step down once his contract is up.

But, shit -- a Conan / Ferguson late-night lineup would be the steak and the steak sauce.

I haven't caught the new HD Craig Ferguson myself. But I've caught an ep or two of his show before... and let me say this, it's way better than Letterman and Leno (don't get me wrong though -- I like Leno's Headlines and Letterman's top 10 lists...). I just consider him to be more in the lineage of Johnny Carson in terms of his style -- the skits, the monologue and all that :).
