Cover Copy for Terok Nor novels

I cannot wait for this series. It's definitely near the top of my book list for next year.
Is that italized bit at the top, a general description that is on all three covers? I only ask so I know wether or not I should add it to the Memory Beta pages.

I wonder what the level of involvement Garak will have in the series. We do know he visited Bajor a couple of times...

Well, we don't know the full extent of Garak's exploits with the Obsidian Order. A Stitch in Time only covers the highlights which reflect his current state.

This is a series I can't wait to get.Reading the synpses of the books it looks like we'll be getting answers as to why the Cardassians took over & Bajorans point of view occupation at long last.I hope we get to see Garak in this series too.

There are so many characters I would love to see in these novels: Opaka, Winn, Shakaar, Furel, Bareil, Lupaza, Ghemor, Li Nalas, Thrax, Kubus Oak, Hagath, Kotan Pa'Dar etc. Who else would you like to see?

Very definitely Li Nalas, Opaka, Winn Adami, and definitely Kira's family. And several characters you've already mentioned. The Cardassian who pretended to be Gul Dar heel and the Cardassian who Kira thought was his daughter in Second Skin.To name a few which i hope appears in the book series.

There is one point I'm kinda confused on with these books, will the second 2 books focus exclusively on events on Terok Nor, or will they cover the whole Occupation?

A longshot here, but what abour Tomas Roeder from Hollow Men? In the novel it was revealed he was undercover on Bajor for some time.

Oh and lets not forget Iliana Ghemor! I see opportunity for some linkage with the DS9-R and a lot of "wow-factor," with the whole intrigue along that story-line.

^Tora Ziyal and Ro Laren.

Ziyal would be too young to appear as anything more than an infant, and I seem to recall that Dukat had the mother sent away when she was still with child (don't have the episode at hand, though, so correct me if I'm mistaken). That being said, her mother (Tora Neprim?) would be a good candidate to appear in the books. Showcase the softer side of Dukat.

Fictitiously yours, Trent Roman

Yeah, I thought about that, she'd have to be (along with the majority of the characters we saw that weren't "old") in the much later years. But being she struck me as around 20 or so on screen she'd have about 14 years to cover. I really would just like to see the whole Dukat affair with a Bajoran and the subsequent baby and then the reaction of all involved etc. not necessarily Ziyal herself... Although her life as a youngin' could be interesting and finding out how she became a Breen slave and prior to that how she lived and coped with the loss of her mother.

Keep in mind here I have no idea how long lived Cardassians are as compared to say, Humans. I imagine they are fairly long lived since Dukat is apparently there at the beginning of the occupation therefore old enough at the time to at least be enlisted in the Cardassian military, and is still alive and not terribly old looking 57 years later in WYLB.

Very true. The same could be said about Garak and Entek.

The font alone would seem to indicate something of a link between this series and the Relaunch.
