Could the Organians or Kelvans kick the Borg's ass?

Maybe the Borg might destroy a civilization that the Q were very concerned about and he would suffer their wrath for interfering? :borg:
JB

That's what I was thinking hence why he scolded his son.

But awe hell if I were Q I'd shrink some cubes down bung keychains on them and sell them for fun

I get that, that's the message in "Q Who" but in Voyager he tells his son not to provoke the Borg. Why would you need to bother?

Even a junior Q could turn a cube into a keychain what could they possibly do?

OMG Imagine carrying a keychain of a live Borg Cube... Awesome

Until the tiny little drones crawl out of it and try to start assimilating your hand...

I'd kind of like to see the Kelvans use their handy dandy belts to turn a Borg cube into a Borg tetrahedron...

They only used it on Living Beings and I imagine the Borg woukld eventually find a way to block or disable the projector that makes the belt function. The Kelvans seemed slightly more advanced than teh Federation in Kirk's time, but they wern't overly powerful. Hell, in the TOS episode where they appeared "TOS - "By Any Other Name"; their ship that survivrd a 300 year intergalactic journey was destroyed by their attempt to cross the Milky Way Galactic Barrier; yet somehow Kirk's ship (even before the Kelvans upgraded it) had survived the Barrier (and an earlier Earth ship the S.S. Valiant had as well. see TOS - "Where No Man Has Gone Before")

So, overall, I don't think that ultimately, the Kelvans would ultimately avoid assimilation by the Borg if the Borg deemed them 'worthy' of assimilation.

The Enterprise had only crossed the barrier once! and it had to be at warp speed to do it. Impulse or sub-light ships cannot cross the barrier! The first time Kirk tried the ship was badly damaged and it's engines were wrecked in WNMHGB!

Yeah, other than their selecting a couple of eye-catching forms in particular (ahem) I wasn't awed by the Kelvans. The Organians and the Talosians would give the Borg some trouble.

The Talosians had the power of illusion but not sure how effective that would be.

If they could make Kirk and everyone else think Mendez was in the shuttlecraft, even as far away as Starbase 11, I think they could make the Borg (e.g.) blow themselves up without realizing it.

Assuming the Borg are even susceptible to telepathic influence. It's almost a certainty that they've assimilated telepaths before.

I have a feeling this would go very badly for the Talosians.

Now imagine telepathic Borg that could mentally convince other races that they wanted to be assimilated...

That would be more terrifying then standard Borg

Guinan’s people were assimilated so surely the Borg have her Q worrying powers.
Perhaps the exploitation of species psychic powers is not possible by their technology.
The non corporeal life forms can not be assimilated so the Borg can never add that type of biological distinctiveness to their own.
