Could El-Aurian's be Time Lords?

Guinan back in the ninteenth century was pushing it just like accepting a Janeway relative to look just like Janeway. Q's Borg killed her race. She's awefully forgiving. Though he could bring them back with the wave of his hand. Like I said elsewhere, Braga and Morre weren't stupid they knew to tie the movies into Q somehow. It all starts where it began as in Encounter at Farpoint, though tangentially. The nexus being a connection to Q realm, the continuum, which was Earth around the turn of the century, which is ironically where Guinan was stranded. So what happened there. She + it = shit. orig? Back to the Borg. Did we create them as in a swip of Battlestar Galactica and Dune? The other movies writer's just didn't have as much talent, or inner directives? Q is a tough nut to crack.

So how did Guinen get stuck in the nexus?

The ship she was aboard was caught in the Nexus and it was destroyed. She ended up inside it, just as Scotty got a transporter lock on them and managed to pull them out of it, you can see this all happen in "Star Trek: Generations".

Is that what destroyed the El Aurilian planet?
The Borg destroyed the El-Aurian's planet.

Does it come from the Borg?
Nope, the Nexus has no connection with The Borg.

I would have liked to see Q's terrible mistake that created the Borg and made him a god so to spaek assuming he was once a V'ger baby. The movie should have broght Decker back, of course.
The Borg's origin remains a mystery as far as on screen goes. If you want to examine some possible origins, check out the Destiny trilogy of books or even William Shatner's novels. Q and the rest of the Continuum have nothing to do with V'Ger, but it would have been interesting to find out what happened with Decker in the years following his merging with V'Ger.

Just been pondering this for a little while and thought I would put it to the masses.

In "Yesturday's Enterprise" Guinan is aware of the change in timeline without any use of technology. Then in "Time's Arrow" she is on Earth, though no one asks how (maybe she has a TARDIS tucked away somewhere).

She has been to many different worlds and knows Q very well. She is shown to have great wisdom and no one actually knows how long they live for.

Any thoughts?

Been saying this for years.

I feel there a parallels, and it's plausible that a Time Lord(the Doctor) could pretend to be one, most of the other facts make it unlikely that they are time lords.

Borgs and Daleks sound slightly(note I said slightly) similar. Both are bent on taking over the universe and destroy everyone in their way.

While Gallifrey is trapped in the Time War, it technically was destroyed and became a myth. So both home worlds were destroyed and have some survivors(with the Time Lords it is just the Doctor, and at one point the Master).

However, I think someone would have mentioned/noticed them(the El-Aurian's) having two hearts.

In the Star Trek The Next Generation Doctor Who crossover comic there was a nice scene with the Doctor and Guinan having a chat about how they both perceive time being out of whack.

I think that perhaps El-Aurians are similar to the Time Lords just not quite at the Time Lord level just yet, since they don't seem to regenerate or time travel.

Please do not re-animate threads that have been dead for years.

Thanks.
