This ship was more or less an experiment for alien design combined with established federation technology. I did not really went far into the technical stuff, it's more like a concept car.
Name: "Venetia Starlight"
Dimensions:
Max. Length: 97 Meters
Max. Height: 63 Meters
Max. Width: 50 Meters
Engines:
Multipoint Thrusters
Dual Impulse system
Nearlight Sail system
Warp drive (warp 8.59)
Defensive systems:
Deflector shield (Type V)
Mounting points installed but not equipped.
Brief Description:
Small agile sailing yacht for private use. Can carry 2 crewmembers and 6 guests.
Sail systems works by refracting photons to the Z axis where they are collected, resequenced and then emitted again on the X axis creating a precise 99% effective forward motion.
Warpspeed can be achieved by rotating the wings 180 degrees and tilt the pylons 70 degrees down. The 1mm thin sails will automaticly be fold inside the nacelles when a tilt of over 10 degrees is detected.
This yacht is designed and buildt by a Coridan shipyard under the supervision of "Northstar Classics". Starfleet is going to refit 1 of these yachts to do research missions in subspace damaged regions of space.
If I ever have the time I might do that Starfleet refit, and remove all the moving parts and use short hardpointed pylons instead.
Anyway here are the pictures:

I made it earlier this year for a small contest over at SCN. Then it got in a dusty corner of my harddrive. I think my future "experiments" could benefit from opinions given on Venetia Starlight, so that's why I'm posting it here.
