Corey Haim found dead.

Very sad news, but I can't say I'm surprised. :(

Damn. Lost Boys is still one of my favorite movies of all time. RIP. :(

Damn. At this rate not very much of the 80s are going to last to the 20s.

im surprised that dude made it this long. did anyone see that two coreys show on a and e? dude was circling the drain.

Hell, years ago I wrote off Robert Downey Jr -- helluva comeback he's made.

Charlie Sheen had better get his act straight. He was doing really good and now...

He was all pissed off that Feldman made Lost Boys 2 without him, and they were all set to make Lost Boys 4 together.

Wouldn't surprise me if the Oscar committee left him out of next year's tribute.

Hell, I'm still trying to figure out what genius left FARRAH out this year.

Not saying it's a good excuse, but their justification is she was a TV Star, like Bea Arthur (also conspicuously absent in the montage), and as such belongs in the Emmy In Memoriam, not the Oscar.

I'm gonna second what others have said about Corey Haim, that this is tragic, but in no way unexpected. His struggles with his demons have been public for many years.

I will choose to honor him by watching "Lucas" tonight.

Logan's Run? Saturn 3? Dr T and The Women? The Cannonball Run?

Plus she was THE female pin up of the 1970s and had 2 marriages to well-known (at the time) actors. Then there was her courageous documentary about the last days of her life.

I'd say all that adds up to merit an acknowedgment, even if most of her career was on the small screen.

I don't buy it for a second. They left Farrah out, but put Michael Jackson in? How many of his movies can you name? I can name only one - The Wiz. Oh, that's not true. He also had a cameo in a Men in Black movie.

And Farrah, what was she in? Oh, right .. Logan's Run, Cannonball Run, Dr T and the Women, and a little movie called The Apostle, which was an Oscar winner.

These are the same fuckheads who "forgot" to include Dee Kelley and Andreas Katsulas. Bones McCoy and the One-Armed Man? Yeah, it's all politics.
