Cop bashes mothers head into street nearly killing her

Two cops are filmed arresting a lady for some unknown reason. She is cussing and resisting, pushing her foot against the car so they can't put her in. While one cop walks around the car, the other grunts and violently pushes the lady head first into the street as hard as he can. Afterwards she is barely moving. The reason she is resisting so much is that at the beginning of the video they are by her baby carriage. At the one minute mark she says that they are leaving her baby in the street. Shortly afterward her head is cracked open by the pavement. This is the one time the cops weren't tazer crazy in advance.

Why were the cops arresting the woman?

Even when the woman was lying semi-conscious on the ground the policemen don't seem to be one bit concerned about the baby's well-being. What they should have done is put the baby into the car first and then the mother might have complied with their demands.

There are three types of cops:

1. The ones who honestly want to serve and protect. I have great respect for them.

2. The ones who want the power trip and use their badge to get away with it.

3. The ones who are moles for criminals and got in because of their clean records.

This one sounds like #2.

There was most defiantly an infant in that stroller. You can see the blanket moving. The officers should have read her the procedures regarding infants before they tried to force her into the car. It would have made the situation less tense and prevented this from happening, most likely.

Ah, cops doing what they do best...

What they should have done is put the baby into the car first and then the mother might have complied with their demands.

They shouldn't have touched the child at all. Nor forcibly separated the two in that environment unless she presented a threat to the child. The welfare of the child should be the overriding consideration.

I ran into one of those a few weeks ago. I wasn't even permitted to explain (politely, I see no reason to be a dick) why we hadn't pulled straight over at the entrance to the airport garage. We didn't know WTF the cop wanted us to do. There was a huge puddle ahead of us and we though he was telling us to drive around it.

After it was all said and done and we got a lecture, I asked him if I could say something, and the fucker said "No ma'am, you may not."

I was smart enough not to answer back, but if looks could have killed, fat-belly would have been stretched out.

Sadly enough, I wanted to help the guy communicate better in future. We couldn't figure out what he wanted from us. Turns out there is a speed limit on the lower level of the airport. Who the fuck knew? (Or cared. Frankly, that's a waste of my taxpayer money to go after that shit.) Besides, have you ever BEEN in an airport? How the hell do you speed in an airport? It's not possible!

But he was a power-tripping asshole and he doesn't give a damn that my fucking taxes pay his salary. He's MY employee, he's NOT MY boss.

There are good cops and there are pigs. Regrettably, too many of the latter are cropping up lately.

In all fairness, he didn't give my husband a ticket. But I'm still pissed off at him for his attitude. They are supposed to "protect and SERVE."

It's a shame that a bad apple spoils the barrel, but would a little courtesy help? I know they deal with the scum of the Earth, but not everyone they run across is scum or disrespectful. I wish they'd remember that.

Try living around here. Corruption at state, regional and local levels. You end up having to resolve situations yourself because the cops only go after revenue producing crimes.

I made a complaint about a police officer once. Some child had climbed the fence to the nursing home and done some damage to the gardens. It seems that someone had pointed the finger at my youngest son and the cops came to see us.

My son said 'it wasn't me, I don't climb fences'. The policeman told him to stop lying. I told the policeman my son wasn't lying. The policeman then said 'Why should I listen to him when he talks the way he does'.

I asked the policeman what did he mean by that and couldn't get an answer out of him. My son hadn't spoken rudely or used any bad language. Eventually the policeman left saying he was going to make further inquiries. He came back late that night (about 11pm) and told me he knew my son was guilty, that he had heard that he was a troublemaker and that he was going to take it further, stating that my son would be arrested. The policeman was very aggressive at this point and I was frightened.

The next day I, phoned the police station and said I had a problem with a policeman's conduct. I was given an interview with the sergeant. I took my son with me.

I went down and told the sergeant what had happened. I pointed out that my son had cerebral palsy and it was physically impossible for him to have climbed the fence. I said if I wasn't believed I would ask my son's physio and occupational therapists be contacted as proof.

I told him that the policeman I had talked to wouldn't accept this at the time and that he kept going on about my son's speech. I explained to the sergeant that my son spoke rather loud because he had speech and hearing problems.

I also said I thought it was inappropiate for a policeman to be knocking on the door at night when he knew the occupant was a lone mother and also that the child was under the age of criminal liability (which was 8 years at that time). The sergeant said the policeman might have though my son was over eight. I pointed out to the sergeant that my son was only 7 and was a small child for his age and most people thought he was about 5 or 6.

I asked the sergeant if the school liaison police officer could be brought in. I was secretary of the Parents and Friends and knew the school policeman through that. The school policeman came in talked to me and the sergeant. He actually was surprised that we were talking about my son, Marcus, because Marcus had never been in any sort of trouble. The school policeman said Marcus was a shy, nice little boy.

The sergeant said he was sorry that the whole situation had been mishandled and that he accepted that my son hadn't done anything wrong. He said he would speak to the policeman in question.

My son said he wanted to see the cell that the baddies were locked up in so the school policeman gave him a tour.

Oh dear that was terrible.
I can not beleive that two policemen were struggling with her.
What that lone policeman did was horrilbe it makes me sick watching it
The pram in the corner was sad to see too

Well, I'm glad it was caught on tape, because otherwise it would have been her word (if/when she recovers) against theirs and the department would side with the arresting officers on the basis of her resisting arrest.

Yes the police do look after there own in these sort of cases.
But like you said he was caught in the act.
At least she will be able to get the police department paying the costs to what ever damage of excisting problems she has in the future
He slammed her quite hard and l do know you need a alot of health insurance if you need a stay in hospitol in America.

You kidding, the thin blue line will slam down on her even harder in defense of the jackboot because the video demonstrates that she was in fact resisting arrest, Thus the cop used "necessary force" to maintain control.

It would be easy to get emotional and issue a clarion call for the masses to rise up in warfare against the fucking pigs but there is a better way to go about it. The system needs to be changed.

Law enforcement has always been infested with brainless, undisciplined, unprofessional, unprincipled bullies. This is nothing new. Thanks to everyone having a video camera though, it's becoming ever-more exposed.

Civilian review of law-enforcement actions should be mandatory. Simple separation of powers. Simple common sense. That is what we need to be calling for. These hired thugs can not be trusted to police themselves; nobody can. The general populace needs to wake up and stop glorifying the police as heroes. Some individuals among them may be and those are to be admired and respected but the mindless submission to law-enforcement needs to end. These people need to be under a constant magnifying lens. When they fuck up, CIVILIAN authority needs to come down hard on their asses.

^ I remember that one. A bunch of unprofessional pigs beating a man who was already unconscious.

This shit is going to have to stop unless they want to face a civilian uprising.

The general populace needs to wake up and stop glorifying the police as heroes.

The generalisation is somewhat off though. Or it might just be down to different places we live in.

But, while I think the word hero is way overused, the police around my area have some terrible things to deal with, horrible attitude problems from younger people and those I've liased with have, for the most part, acted calmly and professionally in situations where a regular person would - and in some cases should - snap.

Their patience in dealing I've witnessed should be praised, especially with the anti-police attitude that gets thrown their way.

Some do snap, some do go on power trips and they should be punished accordingly. But when an incident happens, the wrong doers should be targetted - and I hate that when an officer gets out of control, it's the rest of them that have to put up with the backlash.

That video of that dude thrown from the car is amazing. What kind of asshole would beat an unconscious man that has been thrown from a rolled over car? Those guys are maniacs.

Who was filming this? How dare they violate the privacy of those officers?
