    Wasn't there a novel called "The Devil's Heart" that was about an artifact that was related to the Guardian?

    The Selkie. There are a lot of ways that an amphibious species from a planet that's basically one big tropical island can go wrong, which is more remarkable that they got it right.

    I recall liking the Hive from Objective: Bajor. I also liked the Thallonians and Danteri. The Caeliar were also interesting.
