With Wil Wheaton (

He hosted a pie eatin' contest & viewin' of
Stand By Me before signin' copies of his new book,
Just a Geek. I also got a Wesley Crusher action figure signed for myself and one for
OmahaStar.

With John Wesley Shipp (

The Flash) at Dallas Comic Con, Plano TX
I got an 8x10 of him as Pollux signed, and we both geeked over the first series, since the new series was still years away at the time. He asked if I would be at the convention on Sunday, and told me if I made it, I could sit at his table so we could geek some more. But, I couldn't get to the second day of the con.
With Michael Gross (
Family Ties,
Tremors) at the same Dallas Comic Con, Plano TX
This was Mr. Gross's first convention appearance, and he only had two photo options - a studio head shot & him as Burt with the elephant gun fom the first
Tremors movie.
With James "Jimmy" Hampton (
Teen Wolf &
Teen Wolf, Too) at the same Dallas Comic Con, Plano TX
I told Jimmy how many times I had seen the first TW film, and he quizzed me about it. As a 'reward', he added a quote from the movie to the 8x10 I got signed, and told me where the quote came from, that it wasn't scripted, but improvised on the set durin' filmin'.
With Ray Park (
Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace,
X-Men) at Star Wars Fan Days, Plano TX
He complimented my tie, which was a gift from another member of this board - apologies for not rememberin' which of you gave it to me.
With David Prowse (original
Star Wars trilogy) at Star Wars Fan Days, Plano TX
The guy who took this picture said he couldn't fit us both in the same frame. Mr. Prowse simply said, "Kneal down." And without thinkin' of it, I dropped to a new. I'm weaker than Luke Skywalker.
My oldest nephew with Daniel Logan
Star Wars: Episode II - The Clone Wars, Dallas Comic Con, Plano TX
At the Q&A with Daniel Logan & Jake Lloyd, Thomas & I were front row, and Thomas said he had a question. I asked him what it was, and he told me. So, I told him to raise his hand and wait to be called like in school. He asked the two prequel trilogy actors what they thought of
Episode III. Jake Lloyd went off on how awesome and wondeful he thought it was. And he asked Thomas, "What did you think of it?" Thomas said, "They haven't let me watch it yet." Everyone who heard him say that went "Awwww..." Thomas could have crawled into a hole to die. Daniel Logan leaned into his microphone, and said, "Don't worry about it, mate, they haven't let me see it yet, either." And for that, Daniel Logan is forever awesome.
With Bob Ivy (
Bubba Ho-Tep) at Bubba Ho-Tep Fest, Austin TX
With Edward James Olmos (
Battlestar Galactica) at Dallas Comic Con, Richardson TX
I'm Team Edward. Joel Watson, the artist behind Hijinks Ensue & the creator behind my t-shirt, was at the same con, and was so excited, because it was the first time he'd seen one of his shirts out in "the wild."
With my nephew & Anthony Daniels (
Star Wars) at Fan Appreciation Day, Richardson TX
This was a free, one day event and my nephew's first scifi con. Mr. Daniels complimented my tie, too. He said Darth Maul was his favorite Sith. I didn't think to ask why.
