Connor's SciFi Movie Scheduled at Last

I wish I could be more merciful to spiders, it's not like they're evil or anything. But I can't take the chance of them escaping and crawling on me. :alienblush: I saw a huge one on my leg once and nearly had a stroke.

Tho' will leave Daddy Long Legs alone, because they don't bother be AT ALL and I have no idea why!

I had one living in a corner of my bedroom near the ceiling for months... Until I brought in a cleaning service and they vacuumed it up. I forgot to tell them to leave it alone because it catches flies.

Altho' I don't really have much of a problem with bugs in my house anyway. I have a cat.

spiders stories, hummmm....

Looks like a combination of "Pitch Black" and "Precious Cargo."

Boy, this thing is gonna suck so bad... (Hope I'm wrong)

I loved Pitch Black. It was atmospheric as hell, and Vin Diesel was ever so cool as Riddick. I hope Star Runner will be somewhere up there with it.

Sci fi channel has been showing this movie preview alot when Enterprise is on in the afternoons this week.I still look forward to seeing this movie Saturday night.Even if I don't like creepy bugs either.:guffaw:

Ahem... Connor was able to elevate some pretty crappy writing on Enterprise... He can handle this.

To get ready for Star Runners this weekend I watched Starship Troopers 3 last night on blueray. That may be the worst scifi movie I have ever sit through.

I didn't think it was that bad. For what it was, I thought it was fun.

You want bad? Watch some of those cheapie sci-fi flicks made by the dozens back in the 1950's, like "Plan 9 From Outer Space" (bad, but a hoot to watch) or "Robot Monster" (just plain bad). Compared to those, "Starship Troopers 3" is Paddy Chayefsky.

I've seen some of the old sci fi moviesfrom the 50's & 60's with Giant ants and spiders on TCM they were silly sci fi B movies but they had some really funny scenes too. I saw Starship troopers 3 it seems to be echoing the storyline of some of those old movies.

Saw a set of girl's boobs live & in person for the first time thanks to Arachnophobia...

...a bunch of us were watchin' the movie on video, and a buddy of mine dropped a gummy candy thing down the back of one of the girl's shirts durin' a particular creepy bit. She jumped up, screamin', and yanked her shirt right off to get whatever it was.

Good times.

:techman:

On topic, I'll set the DVR, 'cause SGA showed that Conner Trinneer can be a pretty good actor. But, it is a scifi movie, so I already know it'll suck out loud.

To me it seemed like there was two directors and two writers. One set creating a parody and one set creating serious scifi. The two sides never found harmony.

Looking forward to hearing a report on Connor's movie from you guys States-side. Not sure when we'll get it in the UK.
