I ordered mine May 31st and it's still "In Process" as well.

For those of you who've received yours, when did you order?

EDIT: Mine just shipped actually. No charge on my account yet though.

I ordered mine on June 9, still have not recieved it yet. I called my credit card company, and they have gotten an authorization (hold) for the cost of the album, but it hasn't posted to my card yet. Technically they have been paid as as of the day I placed the order. Still showing in progress on their website as well. There's a couple other film soundtracks on their site that I'd love to have, but this maybe the only one I ever order from Varese. I loved the score of this movie.

They sometimes show "In Progress" even after they have shipped.

I'll keep that in mind, but I'm just a bit skeptical about ordering things online unless it's from places like Amazon. I've been burned too many times in the past.

These guys are actually the label that makes the CDs in the first place.

Trust me, they are very good.

BTW, Got mine, and it's great !!!

I ordered mine a few weeks ago. Still waiting for it to arrive (hoping it will arrive tomorrow so I can have it on my iPod before we go see Toy Story 3).

I got an email reply from customer service saying they got a lot of orders and it's taking a long time for them to process (in order) and mine should ship early next week. I didn't really understand how something limited to only 5000 copies could overwhelm their shipping and ordering system, but that's the explanation they gave me. -shrug-

I saw this, read the first and last pages on the thread and ordered it. I don't care how long it takes. It's a worthy risk. I love the soundtrack I have and MORE SOUNDTRACK is awesome. Thank you so much OP for posting this. I will be paying attention to the thread to see when people get their cd's.

::adore::

Think of it this way. How many people do you think actually order from them in any given month? I'd guess way, way less than 5,000 since there's almost no point in ordering from them unless they have an exclusive like this. I would be surprised if they get even 50-100 orders a months from consumers and probably only have a handful of people doing order processing.

Since they are the label, they also have shipments to retail vendors in the mix, such as Screen Archives, FSM, MovieMusic.com and others.

They have to get their CDs first, since THEIR customers have pre-orders that need to be fulfilled.

That's true, which is why I said consumers. Though I would think it's easier to ship 5,000 CDs to Amazon, Best Buy, etc than it is to ship 1 CD to 5,000 people.

That would drive the costs up, since Amazon would take a hefty share for their part.

Producing a set like this is already very expensive, and if the price point is increased too much, Varese cannot make a profit, and may indeed be out of pocket a huge amount.

For this reason, they have their own store.

For general, non-limited releases, they do sell through Amazon. The 15 track OST for this very score is available that way.

Okay...I think our signals got mixed up. I was initially responding to someone frustrated with the speed of shipping out the CDs, and where I was going was it takes time to ship out 5,000 individual orders vs. orders to retailers. I wasn't saying this should be available more widely.

An email from about an hour ago says mine has shipped.

There are less than 1500 of these now, according to Varese's website.

Listening to it now, nice to finally here the tracks that were not included in the original release. Of the new tracks I am liking "Chutes and Matter" (the platform fight).

Yeah as I stated in my post on Wed that there were less than 1500 left...and glad people are starting to get theirs. I'm guessing mine will arrive sometime this week.
